Dog Walking — Bexleyheath
Dog walking in Bexleyheath
Regular, reliable walks — so your dog gets out even when you can't make it.
Most dog owners who book a walker aren't doing it because they don't want to walk their dog. They're doing it because real life keeps getting in the way. Long days at work, unpredictable commutes, early starts and late finishes — and the dog still needs a proper walk, not a quick five minutes around the block before it gets dark.
Our dog walking service in Bexleyheath is built around consistency. Same walker, same routes your dog knows and enjoys, same day every week. Your dog builds a relationship with someone they trust, gets a proper walk that actually tires them out, and comes home settled. You get to stop worrying about whether they've been out.

That's what a good local dog walking service actually delivers. Not just someone who turns up and goes around the block — someone who actually knows your dog and does the job properly.

How it works
Meet and greet
Before any walks begin, we meet you and your dog so everyone's comfortable. We find out about your dog's routine, temperament, any behavioural quirks to be aware of, and what kind of walk suits them best. This genuinely matters — a dog that's pulled on the lead is walked differently to one that's calm off-lead. We take the time to get it right.
Collection and a proper walk
We collect your dog at the agreed time, get them leashed up and head out. We use routes that suit your dog's pace and energy level — varied walks that give them proper exercise and stimulation rather than the same loop repeated every day. A tired dog is a well-behaved dog. That's the point.
Drop off and update
Your dog is returned home safely, with fresh water and a chance to settle. We send you a message after every walk — how they got on, anything worth mentioning, usually a photo. Most owners tell us this is one of the things they appreciate most about the service.

Why ScoopAtroop
Why a local walker beats a dog walking app
Dog walking apps have made it easier than ever to find someone at short notice. But easier isn't the same as better — and when it comes to looking after your dog, the difference matters.
With an app, you often don't know who's turning up until they're at the door. The walker might change week to week. There's no continuity — and dogs notice. A dog that's walked by someone they've built a relationship with over weeks and months is calmer on the lead, more responsive and genuinely happier. That doesn't happen with a rotation of strangers from an app.
With ScoopAtroop, you're booking a local service run by people who know the area, know your dog, and show up when they say they will. The same face at the door every time. The same standard every walk.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How long are the walks?
Walk length is flexible and agreed when you book. Most walks are 30–60 minutes. If your dog needs more or less time — a younger dog with lots of energy, or an older dog who tires quickly — just let us know and we'll tailor it accordingly.
Do you walk more than one dog at a time?
We offer both solo walks and small group walks. If your dog is better one-to-one — whether that's temperament, size, training or preference — we'll make sure that's what they get. Just mention it when you get in touch.
My dog is quite strong on the lead — is that a problem?
Tell us at the meet and greet. We're used to dogs of all temperaments and we'll be honest if we think a dog is beyond what we can safely manage in a group walk situation. Most dogs that are a handful at first settle significantly once they're in a regular routine with someone they know.
Do I need to be home?
No. Most customers give us a key or use a key safe. We go through the access arrangement at the meet and greet so everything is sorted before walks begin.
What if my dog is off-lead?
We discuss this at the meet and greet. Off-lead walking is absolutely something we do — we just need to understand your dog's recall and behaviour around other dogs first. We'll never make a decision about lead vs off-lead that we're not comfortable with for your dog's safety.
Are you insured?
Yes — we're fully insured for dog walking including public liability cover. Your dog is in safe hands.
How much does it cost?
Pricing depends on walk length, frequency and number of dogs. Get in touch and we'll give you a clear price straight away — no vague estimates.
